Corfu Airport Arrival Guide 2026
Corfu International Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias" (IATA: CFU, ICAO: LGKR) is a small single-terminal airport located 3 km south of Corfu Town. Here's what to expect when you arrive.
Terminal Layout
CFU has one terminal handling both domestic and international flights. After landing, you'll walk a short distance to passport control (for non-EU arrivals), then proceed to the single baggage claim hall. The arrivals exit leads directly outside.
After Baggage Claim
- Pre-booked transfers: Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a name sign. Lasmari Cars drivers are positioned right at the exit.
- Taxis: The taxi rank is directly outside the arrivals exit, to the right. In peak summer, expect a queue.
- Buses: The KTEL bus stop is a 5-minute walk left from the terminal. Blue bus #15 goes to Corfu Town.
- Car rental: Desks are in the arrivals hall before the exit.
Useful Facilities
ATMs (Euronet, Alpha Bank) are available at arrivals. There's a small café/shop airside but limited options landside. Free WiFi is available in the terminal. Currency is Euro (€).
Top Tip
If arriving during peak season (June-September), pre-book your transfer to avoid the taxi queue. The airport handles over 3 million passengers annually with most concentrated in just 4 summer months.
